Lattix Passport wraps files and objects in the Trusted Data Format (TDF), binding attribute-based policies directly to each artifact. Recipients can verify, decrypt, and use content only within the limits of declared purpose, time, and context.

When recipients access the data, PEP enforces decrypt decisions locally using rules from the Decision Engine, while the Fabric ledger logs the proof of action. TDF ensures policy follows data everywhere it goes.
